Sarah - Clinical Paediatric Occupational Therapist
My passion for working and supporting children and young people started when I became a special educational needs teacher and my passion for occupational therapy grew from there.
After three years in education, I decided to retrain and complete a masters degree in occupational therapy before joining CTS when I graduated.
I have loved every second since! I have a keen interest in developing programmes and activities to incorporate within the school day to support children’s OT needs and ensure that the classroom and curriculum are accessible for the children I work with.
I believe my educational background and my knowledge in sensory integration gives me a unique perspective and helps me to think outside the box when planning and developing ideas.
I aim to give children and young people the confidence and autonomy to achieve functional goals which ultimately lead to increased occupational performance and a better quality of life.
