Working with children on a day to day basis makes me appreciate their individuality and the importance of a child-centred approach.

It is essential to see the world as the child sees it and to meet them where they are. As a children’s OT my key role is to use play to promote their participation and support achievement of their therapeutic goals.

I passionately believe in the benefits of bridging the gap between a child’s health and educational needs to assist them to reach their full potential.  I have a particular interest in Sensory Integration and attachment.

I am an active member of the Royal college of OT and Specialist Section and Sensory Integration network.
